Risks / Parameters

There are 3 risk modes available, set through the Risk parameter:

Risk = 0.1 (LOW RISK)
Risk = 0.2 (MEDIUM RISK)
Risk = 0.3 (HIGH RISK)

We recommend starting with a minimum of $1000 in your account (ECN or Zero Spread only), and only open the XAUUSD pair on the M1 timeframe.

But Aurum Apex can operate with any account balance, whether it's $10,000, $100,000, or any other amount. It will always automatically adjust the lot size according to the available funds in your account

Which risk level to use?

New Traders: If you are new to trading gold and unfamiliar to its movements, we highly recommend setting the Risk parameter to 0.1. This is the lowest risk level and will help you avoid unexpected surprises. You will still achieve substantial profits while gaining confidence.

Experienced Traders: If you are familiar with gold trading and its movements, we suggest using the Medium Risk level (0.2). This level offers an optimal balance between high profit and drawdown (DD).

Advanced Traders: If you are an advanced trader who operates the robot for only a few hours a day, we recommend using the High-Risk Level (0.3). This level is suitable for those who use the EA for 3 to 4 hours daily and then deactivate it. It is crucial to avoid trading during significant USD and BTC news events, as cryptocurrencies can influence gold movements.

Operating Hours:

By default, the robot will operate with high frequency from 8:00 to 22:00 (your broker's time). The time is automatically set, so there is no need to adjust anything.

HFT + SCALPING:

HFT (High-Frequency Trading): This is a high-frequency trading robot, meaning it will trade frequently throughout the day, averaging around 100 trades per day (some days more, some days less).

Scalping: The EA uses scalping strategies to maximize profit, closing trades in profit when a potential change in price movement is detected, rather than using a predefined take profit (TP)

The EA is designed to achieve quick profits from each trade and is highly optimized for smooth operation.

Note: It is not recommended to modify any parameters other than the "Risk Level."

We recommend using a VPS to prevent interruptions in electricity or internet that could stop the EA from operating. While not mandatory, consider that you are working with money, and any interruption could be costly.

If you do not use a VPS, ensure you have a computer running with the MT4 platform open at all times and a reliable internet connection.
